DBM10163 ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS 1

ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS 1 exposes students to the basic algebra including resolve partial fractions. This course also covers the concept of trigonometry and the method to solve trigonometry problems by using basic identities, compound angle and double angle formulae. Students will be introduced to the theory of complex number and concept of vector and scalar. Students will explore advanced matrices involving 3x3 matrix.

DBM20173 ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS 2

ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS 2 exposes students to the basic laws of indices and logarithms. This course also introduces the basic rules of differentiation concept to solve problems that relates maximum, minimum and calculate the rates of changes. This course also discusses integration concept in order to strengthen student’s knowledge for solving area and bounded region problems. In addition, students will learn application of both techniques of differentiation and integration.
